The exhibition hall is the indoor building where judged, non-livestock entries go on display after competition: produce, baked goods, needlework, photography and other crafts. Judging is usually finished before the hall opens to the public, so visitors see the results of the premium book's classes. Crafts are a feature at 52 of the 96 events, and 31 carry a craft or artisan category, so craft exhibits turn up even at fairs with no midway.
